(ABC 6 News) -- Getting legal advise can of course be expensive, but today many were able to get some help for free.
As part of National Pro Bono Week, Legal Assistance of Olmsted County and Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services held the fourth annual free legal clinic.
Area attorneys volunteered their time to offer advice on everything from family law, immigration, employment and workers' comp.
"Even though these attorneys won't file papers and for them in court and do a full representation, they'll give them enough information to get started so they can understand what their legal problem is and what the next steps are," Virginia Merritt of Legal Assistance of Olmsted County said.
Last year nearly a hundred people came out for free advice. They expected similar numbers this year.
