(ABC 6 NEWS) -- The Rochester Emergency Response Unit helped capture a suspect Friday afternoon after they were called in to assist the Southeast Minnesota Narcotics and Gang Taskforce with a search warrant.
According to the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department, the task force executed the search warrant at a home on the 2200 block of East River Road around 3 o’clock. At that time a male in the home attempted to flee the scene.
The emergency response along with a Rochester K-9 unit were able to stop the suspect.
The sheriff’s department says the warrant was executed as part of an ongoing investigation. They would not give specific information, but said drugs, money, and firearms were found in the home.
More information along with the suspects name is expected to be released after he is charged.
