(ABC 6 NEWS) -- Austin police say they’ve already taken more than 30 reports, and they expect that number to climb.
Vandals damaged more than 30 vehicles in Austin between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
Most of the vandalism involved slashing tires on vehicles parked on Austin streets.
There were also reports of landscaping blocks or paver stones being thrown through vehicle windshields.
The incidents were reported from throughout the city, and not confined to one certain area.
Police are looking for possible suspects in the case: a citizen heard one of the vandalism incidents, and looked out to see four people in a smaller dark-colored passenger car.
The people in the car were described as being in their late teens or early 20s.
Tire and body shops ABC6 spoke with said they’ve been swamped with calls from victims, looking to get their vehicles fixed.
