(ABC 6 NEWS) -- A drug deal gone wrong led to the robbery of a 16-year-olds parent’s house.
According to the Rochester Police Department the incident started when the 16-year-old was attempting to sell marijuana to a known acquaintance. Instead of paying, the acquaintance stole the marijuana and ran off.
The teen then received a phone call from his suppliers telling him to meet them at Wal-Mart south. When he arrived three males assaulted him and shocked him with stun guns. They also had him hand over several personal items. They then made him drive them to his parent’s house so they could steal additional items.
Police say more than a thousand dollars’ worth of electronics were stolen from the home. The original amount of marijuana stolen was worth a couple hundred dollars.
Police are still investigating.
