(ABC 6 News) -- A Kiester man arrested after police searched his home last week was arrested again over the weekend for a separate incident.
Michael Mixon, 61, plead guilty in court today to violating an order of protection. He was seen inside the Albert Lea Wal-Mart where his wife works on Saturday. The protection order forbids him from going to her workplace.
Mixon was sentenced to 30 days in jail, but it was stayed on the condition that he remains law abiding and follows the protection order. He will also pay a fine, and be on unsupervised probation for one year.
Last week the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the South Central Drug Investigative Unit’s Special Weapons and Tactics Team executed a search warrant at his home. He was arrested after they say they found illegal silencers. Mixon was released while authorities wait for lab analysis on the silencers to come back.
