Two Trailers Worth Thousands Stolen

(ABC 6 NEWS) -- The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department is investigating two separate incidents involving the theft of trailers or farm equipment.

The first incident happened sometime between the 1st and the 4th of November at the Hiawatha Valley Farm Store in Byron. The sheriff’s department says a Demco 365 gravity wagon was stolen. The wagon is estimated to be worth $6,400.

The second incident occurred between the 6th and 7th of November in Oronoco. Authorities say a wood splitter and its trailer was stolen from a lot. It’s estimated to be worth $4,000.

In both incidents, the suspects would have had to attach the equipment to another truck in order to take it from the property. There are no suspects in either case.
