WASHINGTON (AP) - An Iowa man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for possession of child pornography.
Thirty-six-year-old Nicholas Michael Jackson of Boone, Iowa, was sentenced Wednesday in federal court in Washington. He had pleaded guilty in March.
According to the government's evidence, Jackson, a registered sex offender, communicated online with an undercover officer.
Prosecutors say Jackson shared about 20 images of child pornography with the officer in hopes of getting images, via live Web cam, of an underage girl.
