(ABC 6 News) - Rochester police say they're investigating what might be a hit and run case involving an employee at the Federal Medical Center Prison.
Police say Jared Jacobson was seriously injured Sunday night. He was found in the alley across from the fire station on 6th Street SW, around 7pm. They say he had suffered a broken pelvis, was unable to talk and that his injuries are consistent with being hit by a vehicle.
Mayo Clinic says Jacobson was in critical condition as of 11:15 Thursday morning.
At the moment, police say they haven't identified any witnesses or suspects.
FMC's spokesman says Jacobson is a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist at the prison.
