(ABC 6 News) - A Winona woman is in custody after she was allegedly caught shoplifting and then used mace on a loss prevention worker.
The Rochester Police Department says Shonna Booker was arrested after she was caught shoplifting at J.C .Penney in Rochester Friday afternoon.
Booker sprayed mace at a loss prevention worker after the worker attempted to confront her about stolen items from the store. A Rochester police officer who was already at the mall was able to subdue and handcuff Booker.
Booker is now facing multiple charges including disorderly conduct, theft, obstruction of justice and unlawful use of a dangerous weapon.
The loss prevention worker sustained minor injuries.
