Gas Prices Drop During Holiday Travel

(ABC 6 NEWS) -- If you're hitting the roads for the holidays, you may see a gift at the gas pump.

The average price per gallon in the U.S. has dropped about two cents in the past two weeks.

The Lundberg Survey shows it at $3.26 per gallon. The highest price found was $3.62 in Long Island. The lowest, $2.84 in Tulsa.

According to GasBuddy, Minnesota's average is $3.05. It's even cheaper in Southeast Minnesota.

In Rochester, you can fill up for $2.91 per gallon. In Austin and Albert Lea it's $2.99.
