MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Authorities at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport say the suspicious package that caused a brief evacuation of a terminal last week did not contain a propane tank, as initially reported.
The Humphrey terminal was shut down for about two hours last Friday after a box was discovered in the ticketing lobby. The woman who has left the box behind was taken off a plane and questioned by airport police.
Airport spokeswoman Melissa Scovronski says the woman should not have left the package in the airport.
Scovronski tells Minnesota Public Radio News (http://bit.ly/1crOwMs ) in the box was a propane burner and stand, which is not prohibited. But she says leaving unattended packages at an airport terminal is prohibited.
The Bloomington bomb squad was called in to investigate after the box was discovered.
