(ABC 6 NEWS) - A Rochester man is in custody after police say he threatened to kill a man and his dog Tuesday afternoon.

According to police a man had pulled up to a Mayo building on 2nd St. S.W. and was waiting for his wife to come out when a driver pulled up behind him and started honking.

The driver that was honking then got out of his car and approached the other man’s car.  The man then pounded on the windows and tried to open the door before pulling out a knife and threatening to kill the other man along with his dog that was in the car barking.

The man’s wife came out to the car and got in. As he drove away the other man spit on his car.

Police located the suspect’s car a few blocks away and conducted a traffic stop. In the car was Robert Mulliner who was also in possession of a knife.

He is now in custody facing possible felony charges for 2nd degree assault and terroristic threats.
