(ABC 6 News) -- Even in these below zero temps, there's no second guessing how hardy Minnesotans can be, when they have to. It took some bundling up, but some still went about their business today.

We talked with a man who braved the cold to bike a few blocks to work and back this afternoon. No matter what the weather, dogs still need to go outside. I caught up with a man walking his dog at a local park who admits he had to psych himself up a bit before stepping outside.

"It's something I have to deal with because my dog would be sad if she was inside all day so I have to take her for a walk and it sucks I mean it's pretty cold,” said Tim Scheehan of Rochester.

If you didn't have to be outside today, most likely you weren't. I found most of the winter activity spots in Rochester, like hockey and skating rinks were empty. Experts are telling people to stay indoors when it gets this dangerously cold.
