Storm Spotter Training Dates

Becoming a storm spotter is a great way to become involved in your community and be of assistance to local meteorologists including your Storm Tracker 6 Weather Team.

Below is a list of trainings held by the National Weather Service for communities in our area.

If you are unable to attend the training, but still want to become a spotter there are on-line training and materials available at these locations:

March 20th – 6:30 PM – Charles City, IA – Zoetis, 2646 Seven Mile Rd.

March 20th – 6:00 PM – Mason City, IA – Mason City Police Department, 78 S. Georgia Ave.

March 31st – 1:30 PM & 6:30 PM – Waseca, MN – Courthouse East Annex, 300 N. State St.

April 1st – 6:30 PM – Rochester, MN – Rochester International Event Center, 7333 Airport View Dr. SW

April 2nd – 10:00 AM – Webinar – Email Todd.Shea@noaa.gov for information

April 3rd – 6:30 PM – Forest City, IA – Titonka Savings Bank Community Room 101, Highway 69 North Forest City

April 10th – 6:30 PM – Austin, MN – Crane Community Church, 1111 9th St. NE

April 16th – 6:30 PM – Cresco, IA – Featherlite Center at Fairgrounds
