(ABC 6 NEWS) -- On Thursday, a Rochester woman led police on a high speed pursuit before crashing her vehicle and fleeing on foot.
Police say 31-year-old Kijafa Parsons was driving over 90 miles-per-hour on Highway 218 when she was stopped by an officer for speeding.
During the traffic stop, authorities said Parsons fled, driving erratically at more than 80 miles-per-hour down 14th Street.
Because of danger to the public, the officer ended the pursuit, but Parsons was spotted a short time later by another officer who then began following her.
Police said Parsons tried to make a turn in Southeast Austin when her front tire collapsed on itself.
Parsons then fled on foot and was found a short time later hiding in a nearby garage.
Parsons, who had a warrant for her arrest in Olmsted County, will now likely face a number of charges that could include reckless driving, felony fleeing, driving after revocation, speeding, and a gross misdemeanor for providing false information to a police officer.
