Be sure to stop by your local Hy-Vee for a Taste of Hy-Vee starting Thursday, May 1st through Sunday, May 4th.  Sample 10 different foods throughout the store!

Focus on fruits and vegetables.

You’ve heard about filling your plate half-full with fruits and vegetables, Hy-Vee makes it easier with “Short Cuts”, a variety of pre-chopped/pre-prepped fruits and vegetables for all of your meals.

Make at least half your whole grains whole.

This can be accomplished with just a few simple swaps. Choose Hy-Vee 100% whole wheat buns from the bakery.

Go lean with protein.

Browse the Hy-Vee meat department for new ideas like portion-controlled sliders, Responsible Choice Mt. Cook salmon and Hy-Vee Signature Brats made from chicken.

Try cheese, a calcium-rich food.

Many varieties of cheese can add flavor to your meal – try Hennings Blueberry Cheese!
