(ABC 6 News) – Witnesses say two, maybe three, shots were fired during a brawl in southeast Rochester Tuesday afternoon.

Rochester police got a call around 4:45pm that there was a fight with roughly 15 people near the 400 block of 14th Street SE. When police arrived, they only found one person there who may have been involved but that individual wasn’t not cooperating.

Police were told by witnesses that the fight actually happened a few blocks down at the 1400 block of 6th Avenue SE. Those witnesses tell police that a black male was being held in a “choke-hold” during the fight, then someone pointed a gun out of a vehicle parked in the area and fired a couple shots at the crowd.

Police did find one shell casing at the scene. Right now there are no victims at this time. The only description given was that there was a green crossover vehicle that fled the scene along with several other cars and that the gun was likely a handgun.
