(ABC 6 NEWS) -- A drive by shooting has left Rochester Police without a suspect and neighbors concerned. Just after midnight, last night, multiple 911 calls were made to police after shots were fired.
According to Rochester Police, home owners on the 2800 Block of Knollwood Drive SE were having a get together. As their guests were leaving, an argument started. Then, gun shots were fired.
"I came home about midnight, 12:30 and there's cops everywhere in my neighborhood. Parked my car, watched them all run up there, running around looking for someone. I guess there was gun shots going off," said Kyle Gatzke.
Witnesses say around six rounds were fired into the air, as a dark SUV drove down the road. Police found four casings on the scene, but said no suspects have been identified.
"We had a number of witnesses provide us with what information they could, but it's rather limited at this point," said Lt. Mike Sadauskis.
One neighbor said this is typically a quiet and safe area.
"I asked the neighbors what happened and she said there was a drive by shooting and I'm like, 'What? This is the nicest neighborhood I've ever been in," said Karen Blizzard.
At this point, police still have more questions than answers.
"If anyone saw anything or heard anything and they could provide help or benefit to our investigation that they would call the Rochester Police Department at our non-emergency number," said Sadauskis.
Police said no one was hurt and they do not believe there is a threat to the community.
