Getting up at 2:30am everyday takes a little something extra special and a lot of caffeine, but it's absolutely worth it! Since starting at KOB in March of 2011, I've worked just about every shift, with every crew member, but the morning show feels like "home." Working with Antoinette Antonio and Steve Stucker is fun! They make coming into work - with a smile - so much easier.
Before landing in New Mexico, I was in Wichita Falls, Texas. There, I was the main anchor at KAUZ-TV. But, I'm really a southwest girl at heart. I was born in Tucson, Arizona and have lived in Denver, Phoenix, San Diego and Los Angeles. New Mexico was just a natural fit. In fact, my dad's in the business (he's a reporter in L.A.) and he got his start in Roswell. My parents loved New Mexico so much, we visited several times when I was growing up.
I graduated from The University of San Diego with a B.A. in Media Communication and a Minor in Philosophy. I'm an absolute news junkie. I know it drives my family crazy, but if there's news, I'm texting, tweeting and scanning for more information. When I'm not working I love trying out new restaurants and spending time outdoors (doing just about anything) and catching up with my grandma through email and Facebook. Yep, she's pretty cool!
