If at first you don't succeed, try again.

Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta crews and visitors from across the country are excited the fall New Mexico weather cooperated Sunday to allow mass ascension to take place at Balloon Fiesta Park.

Hundreds of balloons filled the Albuquerque sky Sunday morning.

All balloon flights were canceled on Saturday due to high winds. Visitors and flight crews were disappointed the first mass ascension was stumped by the fall New Mexico weather.

Their patience and persistance paid off though.

Eight dawn patrol balloons launched into the air shortly after 6:45 a.m.
