The Central New Mexico Electric Co-op said the power outages affected around 6,100 customers in Edgewood, Sandia Park, Sandia Knolls, Stanley and Cedar Grove.
The company said problems with substation equipment caused the outage, which began around 4:59 a.m. Monday.
Officials said the power was restored around 10 p.m.
