...Kasey Carrier set a new Mountain West Conference single game rushing record. He had 338 yards on 39 carries and 3 touchdowns. 

...The Lobos controlled the time of possession in the game and had more total offensive yards. A costly turnover that led to an Air Force touchdown was the deciding factor in the game for the Lobos. 

...Air Force converts 3rd down play with 1:05 left to play. UNM uses its final timeout as the Falcons come out in thier victory formation.

...Lobos stalled in Air Force territory on 4th down play. Carrier was not on the field for the play. 

...UNM causes turnover. Lobos now have the ball with 10 minutes to play. 

...Carrier continues to lead the Lobos offense. He scampers 37 yards to bring the Lobos to within 5 points. Air Force leads 28-23. Carrier also set a Mountain West Conference single game rushing record with 312 yards on 32 carriers and 3 touchdowns. 

...Falcons score touchdown to open fourth quarter. Air Force leads 28-17.

...Air Force is threatening to score another touchdown. The Falcons lead UNM 21-17 at the end of the third quarter. 

...Wes Cobb scores 1-yard touchdown run and Air Force drives down the field to take the lead back from New Mexico, 21-17. Falcons up with 6:50 to play in the third quarter.

...Carrier gives the Lobos the lead, 17-14 in third quarter. 

..UNM converts turnover into points. Unfortunately for the Lobos they are down to their third string quarterback. Quinton McCown will take the remaining snaps for UNM as B.R. Holbrook is out with a concussion. QB Cole Gautsche didn't suit up for a concussion he sustained last week.

...Carrier is running the ball like a mad man for the Lobos. He has 22 carries, 227 yards rushing and 1 touchdown. 

UNM has dominated the offensive side of the ball in the first half. The Lobos have 13 first downs and have clocked 21 minutes of ball possession compared to 8 minutes for Air Force. 

The interception by Holbrook that led to an Air Force touchdown was the biggest play of the first half, and ultimately is the reason why UNM will enter the third quarter down. 

...Lobos miss 53 yard field goal attempt to end first half. UNM heads into the locker behind Air Force, 14-10. 

...Just when it appeared the Lobos were going to add to their lead, a costly turnover by quarterback B.R. Holbrook led to a Falcons interception returned for a touchdown by Alex Means. Air Force now has the lead 14-10. 

...Carrier is in beast mode for the Lobos. The running back has 200 yards on 17 carries with more than 4 minutes to play in the first half. UNM still leads Air Force 10-7.

...New Mexico leads Air Force 10-7 at the end of the first quarter. 

...Air Force mixes the pass and run to drive the ball 78 yards. A 24-yard pass reception by Ty McArthur set up a 1-yard Wes Cobb run into the endzone. Falcons cut the UNM lead, 10-7 with 6 minutes to play in first quarter.

...Carrier caps another UNM scoring drive with 1-yard dive. He bursted for a 59 yard run to set up the Lobo touchdown. UNM leads 10-0 in the first quarter. Carrier has 126 yards rushing on 5 carries.

...Kasey Carrier took the opening play for New Mexico 68 yards to the Air Force 7-yard line. The Lobos were held to a field goal on the possession. UNM leads, 3-0 in the first quarter.
