LAS VEGAS, N.M. (AP) - A former Las Vegas daycare center owner has pleaded guilty to molesting two girls under a plea agreement with prosecutors that spares him prison time.
The agreement says Edward Quintana will get five years of supervised probation and have to register as a sex offender.
The Las Vegas Optic reports prosecutors charged the 72-year-old with molesting two now-adult women when they were girls attending the daycare center Quintana operated with his wife.
He faced up to three years in prison on each of two charges of sexual contact of a minor. He'll be formally sentenced later for Tuesday's guilty pleas.
Quintana faces a third molestation case involving a family member who was under 10 at the time of the alleged abuse. It is set for trial on April 29.
