SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) - Sheriff's deputies are pursuing a "slew of leads" in the disappearance of a valuable Navajo wall rug from a Santa Fe-area resort.

The rug measuring 6-feet by 10-feet disappeared this week from Bishop's Lodge Ranch Resort & Spa north of Santa Fe.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office says the rug last seen at about 4 p.m. Tuesday in the resort's main ballroom.

Resort managing director Richard Verruni told the Santa Fe New Mexican Friday that workers noticed the black, gray and white rug with a diamond center pattern was gone from the wall the next morning.

Sgt. Mike Martinez of the sheriff's office says investigators haven't found any witnesses but have leads.

He says the rug was appraised several years ago at $75,000.
