Hundreds of bikers cruised through Albuquerque Sunday on a special mission. They were collecting toys for kids.
The 19th Annual All-Albuquerque Motorcycle Toy Run took off from Wilson Stadium Sunday morning and made its way to Sandia Casino.
For nearly two decades organizers have been getting motorcyclists together during the holiday season to collect toys and food for needy families.
Some of the bikers told KOB Eyewitness News 4 the best part is the ride itself is seeing all those motorcycles on the road.
Others had a hard time picking a favorite part.
"The best part of it is giving bikers a better name, supporting a community that's going to be worthwhile for children and just everybody having a big smile at the end of the day," Deb Wakefield said.
Another 'favorite' was the weather. One sponsor told us this is the best weather they've had in the event's 19 years - and that led to an amazing turnout - and more food and toys for families.
