QUALIFICATIONS:
Five years + of TV RF broadcast engineering experience. Experience with both UHF/VHF analog & digital high-power and low-power TV transmitters/translators. FCC General Class License preferred and SBE Certification. Safe driving record and ability to operate a "snow cat" vehicle.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: maintain TV translators (analog & digital, high-power & low power) including maintenance, repair and installation. Knowledge of RF test equipment, antenna systems, microwave systems, and all related gear to RF test, measurement, and repair. On call as needed for emergency repairs including some nights and weekends. This position is full-time with benefits.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The following physical requirements are typical, but not all-inclusive: Lifts and carries 30 kg. (65 pounds) equipment for short distances (about 30m - approximately 100 feet). Manual dexterity to operate equipment, vehicles, and move equipment. Capable of driving company vehicles. Good vision and hearing for proper monitoring of equipment and driving.
Schedule 7 am to 4 pm and as needed
