The UNM women’s basketball team improved to 6-1 on the year, but head coach Yvonne Sanchez wasn’t pleased with their 67-44 win over Weber State.
The UNM women’s basketball team beat Weber State 67-44 to improve to 6-1 on the year.
It’s not often you hear a head coach complain about a 23 point win, but Yvonne Sanchez wasn’t pleased.
“That was ugly,” said Sanchez. “We didn’t play our best basketball and we still got the win, so you have to feel fortunate. But 25 turnovers is unacceptable.”
The Lobos were led by Caroline Durbin who scored 15 points.
Deeva Vaughn added 14 points.
UNM is at Houston on Friday.
