Most everybody in town gathered in the high school gym in Dearborn, Missouri Friday as the Powerball mystery was "officially" solved.
Dearborn resident Cindy Hill bought the winning ticket.
"It's just surreal, I mean it's like your in a dream and it's not really happening," she said.
For Mark and Cindy Hill, who have been "in, but mostly out of, work" over the last year, their three adult boys and 6-year-old daughter recently adopted from China, the $293 million jackpot is a new reality.
"I think we're going to have a pretty good Christmas, and I think we're gonna go on a vacation or two," Cindy Hill said.
They plan to set-up college funds for grandkids, nieces and nephews, create a scholarship for the local school district and donate to several charities.
Mostly they're just trying to figure it all out right now.
"It's all just kind of a fuzz, it's all kind of a blur," Mark Hill said.
The location of the second winning ticket is still a mystery. It was sold in Arizona, but may now be in Maryland.
Security video from a gas station in Maryland shows a man first stunned, then celebrating, after clerks say he learned he had the winning numbers.
They confirmed that the ticket was printed in Arizona, but learned nothing else about the man.
Arizona lottery officials say the winning ticket must be validated in the state, but also pointed out the winner does not have to go public.
