UNM Hospital may have to pay more than a $100 million in a medical malpractice lawsuit.
The malpractice claims date back to the 1990's.
The hospital admitted it failed to give the newest drug therapies to children suffering from a type of leukemia.
The Albuquerque Journal reports a study has found UNM may have to pay $120 million to settle new malpractice claims.
The hospital has already paid out $45 million to more than a hundred families since 1998.
