Albuquerque police told KOB Eyewitness News 4 a man was fatally hit by a car while he was walking on Interstate-25 early Sunday morning.
The incident occurred in the southbound lanes near Cesar Chavez.
Police said they got reports of a man walking down the interstate.
They also said they don't think the driver had been drinking.
Police have not released the victim's name.
