ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A man who admitted running over a pedestrian with an SUV on the Zuni Pueblo was sentenced to more than two years in prison.
The 27-month sentence was given Monday to Aaron Yatsattie for his earlier guilty plea to a charge of assault resulting in serious bodily injury.
Yatsattie admitted that he was intoxicated when he ran over the 18-year-old pedestrian on April 29 and caused him serious injuries, such as multiple fractures to femurs in both legs.
