ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Authorities say they've caught a man who fled from a northeast Albuquerque home after a lengthy standoff with police on Monday.
Albuquerque police spokesman officer Robert Gibbs says 20-year-old Christopher Sosa was arrested by a police SWAT team at a southeast Albuquerque home early Thursday.
Officers tried to arrest Sosa Monday after receiving reports of a burglary and learning Sosa was in a home against the resident's wishes.
He refused to come out but then drove a car out of the home's garage as police shot at him.
Police Chief Ray Schultz said Tuesday a police armored car broke down when officers tried to block his escape.
Jail records show he was booked on a warrant, vehicle theft and aggravated fleeing from a police officer charges.
