La Cueva's Bryce Alford scored 43 points in a 91-73 win at Cleveland. Alford now has 2,046 points in his career, tenth on the state's all-time scoring list. He is 470 pts from the state record.
Alford has 8 remaining regular season games, along with the district tournament and state playoffs. The all-time mark is not out of the question.
Oh yeah, La Cueva's now won 14 straight games since losing the season opener.
