Nehemiah Griego indictment

Griego is accused of shooting his father Greg Griego; mother Sarah Griego; brother Zephaniah Griego, sister Jael Griego and sister Angelina Griego in their South Valley home.

He was arrested shortly after the murders, which are believed to have happened late on January 18 and early on January 19.

Griego has since remained in custody at the Juvenile Detention Center and remains held without bond.

Griego is being charged under New Mexico’s Serious Youthful Offender statute, meaning he will be treated in court as an adult.

A date has not yet been set for his arraignment.
