Albuquerque police have arrested a man in connection with a stabbing that happened late Thursday at the Court St. John Motel.
Police arrested Salvador Gallegos, 34, and charged him with two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
His victims were Andrea DeLuna and Daniel Abbott.
The incident happened at 10:30 p.m. Thursday at the Court John Motel at 2700 4th Street.
Preliminary reports say Gallegos and DeLuna were registered to room #22.
When DeLuna went to Abbott's room, Gallegos entered and stabbed them both with a small pocket knife.
Neither sustained life-threatening injuries.

In a separate incident also on Thursday night, Albuquerque police were called to the Holiday Bowl on Lomas in northeast Albuquerque at 11:35 p.m. in reference to a stabbing.
When they arrived, the victim had already left. The victim was found at UNMH, where the victim was brought in a vehicle with four intoxicated men. The victim was in critical condition at the time.
