The music is back at ‘Music Go Round’ on Menaul.
The owner says the community is showing its support of his vigilant business since Tuesday night’s officer involved fatal shooting.
"Most of us are musicians, so we don't like to see people get their stuff stolen," said Dave Tvedt.
Tvedt had been on the lookout for instruments a customer reported had been stolen from his home.
Tvedt says a woman walked in Tuesday trying to sell a guitar and banjo.
Tvedt recognized the men waiting for her outside in a pickup truck.
He says the men managed to sell stolen instruments to the store on Monday.
"They acted very nonchalant that night (Monday),” he said. “The gentleman gave us a story that he'd been out of work for a while and just needed some money."
Tvedt called police but couldn’t believe what happened next.
“I probably foolishly came outside to see what was going on and I saw the guy running that way and then he stopped right down this hallway he stopped and he started running toward me," he said. “He ran right past me so then I looked back out the window and the officer running in the parking lot chased him right to the corner of this building here."
Meanwhile Tvedt told the woman inside not to move.
"I even asked her at one point said, ‘you're not going to fight me are you?’ She said, ‘oh no. I have four kids. I'm not going to fight you,’” he said.
