A debate over school boundaries is pitting parents against teachers Thursday night.

KOB Eyewitness News 4 was at the packed meeting at North Star Elementary Thursday evening.

North Star is 80 students over capacity, and wants to move about 40 students to Double Eagle Elementary.

But some parents and kids in the affected area don't necessarily want to change schools. And some of them say teachers who work at North Star and bring their own children there should have to move first.

The Albuquerque Public School  board hopes to decide on a plan by next month so it can be in place by next school year.
