A man was killed in an overnight fire at a Farmington mobile home park, and police tape surrounds what's left of the mobile home.

"I looked out the window and there was flames going up and I seen the smoke and the fire trucks, everything," said neighbor Shibah Etcitty.

"I was babysitting for my sister I just hear a big noise," said neighbor Adrianna Shirley.

About 12:30 a.m. firefighters got a call out to a trailer fire at the el ray trailer park where a man was stuck inside.

Firefighters were eventually able to pull Broderick Johnson from the mobile home, but he later died at the hospital.

Johnson lived in the home with his girlfriend.

She was there at the time of the fire, but told police she couldn't remember anything.

She says a woman pulled her out of her home.

The  fire didn't spread other homes, in fact, the only damage found was in the neighbor’s yard - scorched clothes lines. But, everything in the mobile home was destroyed.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Johnson's girlfriend told police there was a gas lamp lit in the mobile home before the fire.
