ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A 47-year-old woman at an Albuquerque dog park was wounded in what's being described as an accidental shooting by an arrow.

Officer Robert Gibbs says officers found the woman conscious and breathing but with an arrow protruding from her back at Santa Fe Village Dog Park early Wednesday evening.

According to Gibbs, a father and son practicing archery at their nearby home indicated that one errant arrow had gone through a fence in the direction of the park.

Gibbs says it appears there wasn't any deliberate intent to hurt anybody but that the case will be submitted to prosecutors for review.

The woman is expected to make a full recovery.
