The warm weather last week didn't just fool people into thinking spring was here. It fooled some crops too.
Farmers at Los Poblanos had to cover their vegetables and hold off on planting new lavender crops this week because of the cold temperatures.
Head farmer Kyle Johnson says their fruit trees even started blooming from last week's warmth.
"We get a warm spell, it starts turning into spring then we get one last cold freeze and we just hope that it's not low enough to kill anything," Johnson said.
We also talked to a local chile farmer who told us the freezing temperatures this time of year actually don't hurt their crops at all. Farmer Chris Sichler said it would take a freeze later this month or into May to damage them.
