Forest Service officials say a wildfire burning in Lincoln National Forest has been reduced from 200 to 109 acres.
The fire, located two and a half miles southwest of Mayhill, N.M. near Curtis Canyon Dam, has been burning since Wednesday afternoon.
The fire is currently 45 percent contained.
And with cooler temperatures forecast for Thursday, the weather is favorable for making additional progress.
There are currently more than 80 fire personnel handling the fire. Crews have spent the day conducting mop up operations and will continue into the evening.
All evacuations have been lifted, as have closures on Hwy 130 and U.S. Hwy 82.
