Albuquerque police made a big arrest Thursday in this week's warrant roundup.
Wearing a sweatshirt and sweatpants, it was obvious Calvin Lovato was not expecting the officers who arrived at his apartment around 8 p.m.
According to police, Lovato has had an outstanding, violent felony warrant for first degree murder. The warrant was issued in November 2012.
KOB Eyewitness News 4 was there as an anonymous Crime Stoppers tip led the southeast Impact Team straight to his apartment.
"I have not been on the run," Lovato said.
As of 10 p.m. Thursday, Lovato was one of more than 350 people taken into custody since Monday.
Police Chief Ray Schultz said officers have heard all kinds of excuses from people who have been arrested or who have turned themselves in, adding there is a bigger price to pay than if they would have dealt with their situation at the time they were originally supposed to.
The warrant roundup wraps up Friday.
