New Mexico State Police entered day two in their search for two missing teens last seen island hopping at Quemado Lake.
On Tuesday, dive teams skimmed the lake with sonar gear and rescue teams went further out from the lake, double checking tracks in areas searched the day before.
State police dispatched the search groups Monday morning after 16-year-old Seth Stephenson and 14-year-old Noah Hooper failed to return from a trip for campers at the Apache Deaf School and Youth Ranch.
Stephenson and Hooper are not deaf nor campers at the Apache Deaf School, but were camp assistants.
The camp owner's wife said the teens were last seen near the deep end of the lake around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Emmanuel Gutierrez of the state police said there is still no sign of the boys, but said shoes were found along the side of the lake on Monday.
