The days may be numbered for an Albuquerque strip club accused of hiring underage dancers.

Friday, Albuquerque police arrested managers Oscar Anderson and Kristopher Muckle, accusing them of hiring two 17-year-old girls to dance nude at the Palms Gentlemen's Club.

This week, an attorney with the City of Albuquerque confirms the city's legal team is moving forward with plans to take legal action against the club's owner that may result in shutting the Palms down.

"We look at everything from the minor things to the major," said Greg Wheeler, assistant city attorney. "So in this case, we look from littering to the possibility that someone may be bringing minors, perhaps against their will from other states or countries and forcing them to perform in this business."

Wheeler said the owner of the Palms flew to Albuquerque from California to meet with him, but at the last minute, he backed out in fear that APD may arrest him in City Hall.

KOB Eyewitness News 4 has confirmed that multiple agencies continue to investigate the Palms in connection to human trafficking and other possible criminal actions.
