Can’t stand the traffic in your neighborhood? The city wants to hear from you.
Wednesday night, the city will host a public forum to discuss ways to improve streets and introduce a new traffic calming program.
The program addresses issues like speeding drivers and traffic backups. The city studied data from across the country to see how other places deal with traffic, such as speed humps and stop signs.
At tonight’s meeting, officials hope to hear from anyone who sees traffic issues in their neighborhood.
The meeting takes place from 6:45-8:15 p.m. at the Manzano Mesa Multigenerational Center on Elizabeth Street in southeast Albuquerque.
