A store clerk, who was shot and killed Friday during a robbery in Northwest Albuquerque, is being remembered as a great employee.

Albuquerque Police are still searching for his killer.

The National Jewelry Buyers store will be closed for the time being.

The owner identified the victim as Richard Glass, a great employee who leaves behind a daughter and a son.

Police hope the surveillance cameras will help catch his killer.

Surveillance video, released Saturday night, shows a white or Hispanic man wearing a black hoodie and a red bandana over his face.

The man is shown coming in and immediately pulls out his gun.

He then goes straight to the back of the store, where he shoots and kills Richard Glass.

APD says the robber looked like he knew the layout of the store.

The suspect left with a bank bag of money and got away in a white Ford Crown Victoria.

A nearby business is reacting Sunday to this deadly shooting.

"That’s kinda scary because to think that I could've talked to that person earlier in the day. That freaks me out, but other than that there hasn't been anything like that going on,” says Hookah Kings employee Danny Morgan.

The owner of the National Jewelry Buyers Westside location released a statement about Glass on Sunday.

The statement reads: “You will not find a more sincere, God-fearing man, whose playful personality lit up any room he was in. We’re praying that the perpetrators of this disgusting crime will be brought to justice.”

So far APD says no tips have come in.
