DAMASCUS, Syria (AP) - Syria's government is accusing rebels of firing at a U.N. team that's investigating the alleged use of chemical weapons in Damascus. But the rebels say a pro-government militia was behind the attack.

A U.N. spokesman says the vehicle was "deliberately shot at multiple times" by unidentified snipers in Damascus.

Activists say the team later arrived in a western suburb of Damascus, one of the areas where last week's attack allegedly occurred. They said the team has been meeting with doctors and victims at a makeshift hospital.
