Candidate should possess a minimum of three years in Commercial Production. Production management experience desired. Must be able to write, shoot, and edit commercials, station promotional announcements, public service announcements, and brief video presentations. Must be able to operate all related television broadcast equipment to perform the aforementioned. Must be competent in training and monitoring production staff. Must posses a valid drivers license with an excellent driving record.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Managing a production staff of full and part time employees. Writing and producing commercials, promotions, and public service announcements; producing and directing live and recorded programs with an emphasis on news; compile department budgets and strategic planning. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor. Must be able to work well under pressure and be able to handle stress.
The following physical requirements are typical, but not all inclusive: Must be able to lift moderately heavy equipment up to 50 pounds; walking, standing, and reaching are required. Good sight and hearing. Manual dexterity to operate broadcast/computer equipment. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. The Company will make reasonable physical accommodations to facilitate the ability to perform essential job functions.
