People gathered in downtown Albuquerque on Sunday for the annual “We Art The People” Folk Art Festival.
The festival took place at Robinson Park at Central and 8th Street.
Artists had booths to display their work and a good crowd was on-hand to check it out.
One woman used the fair as an opportunity to help her group spread the word about women’s issues.
“We are here as a fundraiser for our 2014 exhibit of aprons, which will be hanging somewhere in Albuquerque in March, we use aprons as prayer flags and the connotations of your grandmothers apron to ugh publicize women's issues,” said Shari Adkisson.
Guests were also treated to a puppet parade to enjoy on top of the art and music.
