SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) - Gov. Susana Martinez, under pressure from media groups to release information about her work days and travel, on Friday posted calendars of her schedule dating back to when she took office in January 2011.
The governor's office plans to update the site every Monday.
The calendars were produced in response to requests from media groups and the New Mexico Foundation for Open Government.
The Associated Press has been seeking the governor's calendar since late 2011 but had been given only listings of the governor's public appearances.
The web site calendars list her appointments but appear to exclude political travel and details of some trips.
There also are blank days, with no indication if she was in the state, on political travel or taking personal time.
